Whether you are a local living in the area year-round, or you are here for a limited time on vacation, we will be happy to schedule time to take photos of your family or group.
Don’t let the idea of family pics stress you out. We want this to be a fun process. It’s not necessary to coordinate the attire of everyone in the photo, but it is good to remember that lighter, solid colors are less distracting from the scenery. Traditional favorites include khakis and blue or white shirts or jeans with white or pastels. Long, floral dresses can also be worn to enhance the feeling of timelessness. We normally schedule beach photos either early in the mornings (before 10 am) or in the evening (after 5-6pm depending on the time of year) due to the position of the sun and potential heat index. We also recommend the use of hair products such as hairspray, mousse or gel, especially if you have longer hair – we say this from experience – but don’t worry, we know exactly how to work with the elements to make your photos the absolute best!
Included in your family photos will be individual pics as well as smaller group shots i.e. siblings together, parents together, parents with each child, generational photos, etc. as our goal is to provide you with a wide variety of photos that you will be able to use for multiple occasions in the future.

Whether you need an updated HEADSHOT for your business cards or social media accounts, or if you’d just like to dress up and indulge yourself because you feel like it, this is the perfect photo package for you!
We also specialize in providing BIRTHDAY PHOTOS and HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR PORTRAITURE and we also offer a variety of packages that include multiple locations, etc. We even have a portable tent for discreet wardrobe changes out in the field.
This is one of our best selling packages as we absolutely love the one on one time we get to spend with individuals so we can capture the moments that will mean the most to them.
Just because your cell phones are full of photos and videos of your kids and your pets doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a professional photo shoot to celebrate the “milestones” or “just because moments” of their lives!
At Mary K’s Photography, we LOVE taking photos of children and we also love taking photos of pets. We understand the challenges of each and take into account things like short attention spans and minor meltdowns, so we come equipped with a bagful of props and tricks and, more importantly, the patience it takes to hang in there until the photographic magic begins!
