At Mary K’s Photography, we will never try to upsell you or take up more of your precious time on vacation by having you meet with us again the day after your photo shoot to pick out your favorite poses or purchase separate, expensive packages of prints – we feel like every photo should be yours – even the goofy ones! Every memory counts! That’s why we give you all your final edited photos in your package!
A FEW GOOD THINGS TO KNOW
We normally schedule beach photos either early in the mornings (Sunrise up to 10am) or in the evening (after 4 or 5pm depending on the time of year) due to the position of the sun and potential heat index. Mary K. will let you know sunrise/sunset times for your location.
Our sessions are approximate and not “timed” as we feel this distracts from the natural feeling of the session, but most sessions typically last about an hour. If the group is larger, we set aside more time so you we will not feel rushed!
Please note, we do NOT overbook – Mary K. limits her number of bookings, so you will NEVER be just another face in the crowd! YOUR photos matter and we want you to have the best experience possible!
All of our family and group packages have a minimum of 50 final photos, though we usually end up with way more (like 100…)
In addition to your large group shots, we also break down into smaller group shots (i.e. individual families, siblings together, parents together, grandparents with children, grandchildren, generational photos, cousins, special requests, etc.)

HOW DO WE DO THE MATH?
If your family or group is splitting the cost of the photo shoot, you may be wondering what is the best way to split the cost. We recommend dividing the total of the package by the number of participants, then multiplying that number by the number of people in each family.
For example, if you have 20 people in your party, then you would divide the package price ($600) by the number of participants (20) and the price ends up being $30 per person. Then each family would pay $30 per person in their family. It’s a great way to go in together to share memories that will last forever!

15-19
