At Mary K’s Photography, we will never try to upsell you or take up more of your precious vacation time by having you meet with us again to pick out your favorite poses or purchase separate, expensive packages of prints. We feel like every photo should be yours – even the goofy ones! Every memory counts! That’s why we give you all your final edited photos in your package!
Our estimated return time for your photos is 2-3 weeks in the off-season and 3-4 weeks between the months of May-October. Mary K. is adamant about checking the quality of photos after every session and if there is ever a problem, she will contact you immediately! You can trust that she is working hard to ensure your photos are edited to the best of her ability! There is no need to check in continually – she is always working diligently to provide you with the best possible photos! She will never sacrifice quality by rushing, but she will also never make you wait longer than necessary!
As soon as they are ready, you will receive a password protected link with access to download all your photos in high-resolution. The link is good for a minimum of 180 days and there are NO limits on the number of downloads. You can share your link with friends and family and everyone can download their favorite photos on as many devices as they wish! If you’d like a Keepsake USB, read below.
A FEW GOOD THINGS TO KNOW
We normally schedule beach photos either early in the mornings (Sunrise up to 10am) or in the evening (after 4 or 5pm depending on the time of year) due to the position of the sun and potential heat index. Mary K. will help you decide what time is best.
Our sessions are not “timed” as we feel this distracts from the natural progression of the session, but you can plan for your session to last about an hour. If the group is larger, we will naturally set aside more time so you will not feel rushed!
Please note that Mary K. limits her number of bookings, so you will NEVER be just another face in the crowd! YOUR photos matter and we want you to have the best experience possible!
All of our family and group packages have a minimum of 50 final photos, though we usually end up with way more (like 75-100…)
In addition to your large group shots, we also break down into smaller group shots (i.e. individual families, siblings together, parents together, grandparents with children, grandchildren, generational photos, cousins, special requests, etc.)
HOW DO WE DO THE MATH?
If your family is splitting the cost, you may be wondering what is the best way. We recommend dividing the total of the package by the number of participants, then multiplying that number by the number of people in each family.
For example, if you have 20 people in your party, then you would divide the package price ($600) by the number of participants (20) and the price ends up being $30 per person. Then each family would pay $30 per person in their family. It’s a great way to go in together to share memories that will last forever! If you would like us to do the math for you, just let us know! We will factor in tax and be happy to help you do the math!
